ABOUT

UPSTAIRS is a new space in Amsterdam that showcases and promotes jewellery, product design and art. For the first exhibition, nine recent students and six alumni from the New Craft Object Design department at the Hochschule Düsseldorf will use the space.

The Obsessed with Jewellery event provides the perfect setting for the opening of the new location, which showcases a vivid combination of works by renowned and emerging designers as well as being an open studio.

The people behind UPSTAIRS are Alisdair Mills and Jantje Fleischhut. UPSTAIRS is located on one of the upper floors of the iconic Piraeus building by architect Hans Kollhoff in the eastern harbour area of Amsterdam.
